About Worthy Pharmacy

Lisa Worth, Worthy Pharmacy’s owner, is a pharmacist who provides comprehensive pharmaceutical and whole health care to the residents of Olean and surrounding areas. Lisa is a trained and licensed pharmacist who is affiliated with the APhA (American Pharmacist Association), PSSNY (Pharmacist Society of the State of New York) and NCPA (National Community Pharmacist Association). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from The University of Buffalo and an Associates in Science degree from our own Jamestown Community College.

Lisa worked at Vic Vena pharmacy from 2008 until its closing in June, 2020. In addition, Lisa worked at Walmart, where she was an Assistant Manager/Pharmacist until 2008, and continued on as an on-call Pharmacist, until she started Worthy Pharmacy. However, it was at Vic Vena’s where she found her true calling. Applying her medical knowledge, she helped navigate patients’ options for homeopathic, natural and prescription care. Her caring interactions have provided many friends and residents of Olean a better pharmacological experience and have helped establish lifelong patients.

Lisa believes that by empowering her patients to participate in their healthcare they can maximize their lifelong wellness journey. She knows that how you treat people, from the moment you meet them, is what matters most. This is not just what Lisa does for a living; it is the core of who she is. A patient once told Lisa that engaging with Lisa reminded her of a quote; “Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and how you leave others feeling after their experience with you becomes your trademark”.

When Lisa isn’t at Worthy Pharmacy, you will find her giving back her time, talent and funding to numerous organizations within the community she loves so much. Lisa enjoys preparing communal dinners and teaching Adult Faith Formation at the Basilica of St. Mary’s of the Angels. She also loves kayaking with her husband Tom; who helped make her dream of owning her own pharmacy come true, and doting over her blossoming family.
